The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Methodist North Hospital has received the Silver-level Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

The Beacon Award signifies exceptional care through improved outcomes and greater overall patient satisfaction. For nurses, a Beacon Award is an indication of a positive and supportive work environment characterized by a high degree of collaboration between colleagues and leaders.

The Methodist North ICU is the only adult ICU unit in Tennessee to receive this award.
