Dr. Boop New ISPN President Elect

Fredrick Boop, MD, of Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), and Semmes Murphey Clinic has been named president elect of the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN).

Boop is a professor and chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at UTHSC and chief of the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery at St. Jude. He is co-director of the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at Le Bonheur and a physician at Semmes Murphey. Dr. Boop is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Neurosurgery and specializes in pediatric neuro-oncology, epilepsy surgery and cranosynostosis.
