Dorothy Robinson and Shana Young Join HealthChoice

Dorothy Robinson

Dorothy Robinson has joined HealthChoice as a certified medical assistant for the organization's Population Health Services team, which works collaboratively with patients and their physicians to improve their health status. Prior to her new role, Robinson served as a certified medical assistant for Le Bonheur Healthcare, mobile phlebotomist for several insurance companies, and registered medical assistant for Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa. Robinson earned her bachelor's degree from Everest University. In addition to being certified as a medical assistant, she also holds certifications as a registered medical assistant and clinical medical assistant.


Shana Young

Shana Young has joined HealthChoice as a care manager for the organization's Complex Care Management program, which provides customized support for patients faced with multiple chronic conditions, frequent hospitalizations, or limited ability to perform basic daily functions due to physical and psychosocial challenges. With 25 years of experience as a registered nurse, Young has served in a variety of roles including 10+ years as a medical surgical nurse, 10+ years as a care plan coordinator for skilled nursing facilities, and 5 years in home health. Prior to her new role, she served as a registered nurse at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital. Young earned her B.S.N. degree from Western Governor's University and is licensed as a registered nurse.
