Methodist Pavilion Project Wins Green Building Award

Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital has been awarded a Green Building Legacy Award for its Women's and Children's Pavilion expansion project. It is one of ten presented in a new series called Impact Tennessee as part of the state's chapter of the United States Green Building Council special awards program.

The Women and Children's Pavilion was the first LEED Gold Healthcare project in the Southeast United States. LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally recognized green building certification system designed to promote sustainable design and construction practices as well as creating a healthy environment within a building.
